(It's probably better that they don't know the reference, since they're literally named after a demon.
They edit the designation for Strife-Cloud in their files.)
We have experienced hunger before, though that was a result of being stuck in a Human body. We have only recently begun to experience hunger as a Geth.
(What was it like? They consider.)
We were unaware of our ability to consume sustenance until it occurred.
(They appear to flinch slightly: they accidentally ate literal garbage and it was horrible.)

[ Robot programs occupying a human body... that sounds like something straight out of Hojo's freaky experiments. ]
...For the human, that is.
[ He's not talking about the consensus within the platform!! ]

Not exactly a conversation over sushi, though... Not for Tifa, at least.
Tifa does wonder how eating sushi will be possible for them, but she isn't about to let anyone go hungry. Especially if they've come to Strife's Bites for food! So, she unfolds a hand-written menu she created and slides it across the counter to Legion—it lists all kinds of sushi, ranging from crab to scallop to tuna. Things she never imagined she'd find stocked up in here, honestly, but lo and behold... this world is full of pleasant surprises in some parts!]
Well, hopefully your non-human body can handle some of these! Take your pick, we've got everything.

(It was terrible.
...Food is probably a better topic. They take a moment to admire the handwritten menu and the selection it offers. It would have taken a lot of time and effort to make this, they know.)
Empirical evidence suggests that any item that will fit our internal cavity is capable of being consumed safely, regardless of suitability as foodstuff.
Recommendations?
(They recognize a few things on here, but there's a lot they don't: sushi is a popular dish in their home galaxy, but there tends to be a very different selection of types. For instance, this menu contains no mention of podcrabs.)

He just makes the food. ]
Where... does it go in...?
no subject
So, she'll wait for an answer from Legion first before she gives her recommendation, because it could make or break it between crab meat and something softer like tuna...
That's what she thinks, anyway.
And she's a little curious, too! She's never served a robot before!! It's kind of cool, if not a bit nerve-wracking, too! She doesn't want to do any damage to his systems by feeding him the wrong things...]

All items placed inside our internal cavity are consumed.
(They can fit anything in there. Even large items, like whole cakes ... or body parts, if one were dumb enough to reach inside.)

[ It implies that they'll eat anything, which is... certainly possible. More now than ever, but everyone should still just stick to consuming food and food only.
As for the answer itself, Cloud wasn't sure what he was expecting, but they have no choice but to accept it. ]
So, Tifa, got any recommendations for the chest hole?
[ This one's all on you, partner! ]
no subject
[She mutters under her breath. Calling it a chest hole makes it sound so... weird.
Tifa shakes off that feeling in favour of turning her attention to the menu, trying to find something that would be easy digesting for Legion.]
How about some sashimi, then? [She points to that portion of the menu, where there are pictures of cut up raw fish, fresh and pink and garnished with some greens.] No seaweed or rice, just some nice fresh fish!
no subject
(They examine the part of the menu Tifa points at, taking a moment to examine the drawings.)
Affirmative.
no subject
...We're just gonna give it raw? That can't be right.
no subject
Of course we are. That's what sushi is. [Besides... Tifa pats Cloud on the shoulder before rummaging through the fridge for the cold sashimi to slice up.] Not like it's any worse than eating rocks or plants, right?
[That last part is directed at Legion.]
I don't think the raw fish'll harm you at all?
no subject
(They ate garbage, and that didn't make them sick.)
no subject
He's not a good chef.]Don't worry, our sushi-shi... simi... shimisu is all about the taste, that's our primary concern, too.
[ Shouldn't it be illness? Also he couldn't even get the name right. ]
Tifa, we got any mackerel around?
no subject
She takes a brief break from the conversation to wander to the fridge in search of some mackerel, and lo and behold, there's a tightly wrapped bundle on the bottom shelf, as if the Void knew somehow that it was exactly what she was looking for.
It's even comes conveniently pre-sliced!]
Mackerel, coming right up! [She slaps the plate down on the counter and slides it to Cloud for him to prepare on a plate, and as she watches him work, curiosity sets in.] You have this kind of stuff back home, Legion?
no subject
(Alien. People eat alien fish in the Mass Effect galaxy.)
