🥂 HEAVENLY BLANC VOID PARTY 🥂 Who: Everyone! What: Heavenly Blanc mingle and info exchange Where: The Heavenly Blanc Bar and Café When: "August 1"; but really, what is time Content Warnings: N/A Maybe you heard through word of mouth, or got an invite from the barista and barkeep directly, or spotted the handwritten paper invites hung up around the area, but there is a gathering happening at the Heavenly Blanc Bar and Café TODAY! So feel free to stop by, hang out, have some drinks, and share some stories. 🍺 DRINKS: Coffee will be served by Ren, and Tifa will be handling the other drinks. There's a wide variety behind the bar, ranging from alcoholic to the non-alcoholic, with delicious cocktails (yes, including virgin ones for the minors) to pick from. And before you ask - no, if you are underage, you may not have alcohol. Tifa will be very strict about it, and anyone who tries to bypass her imposed law will be subject to room temperature tapwater for the rest of the party. 🎲 GAMES: Various boardgames that came along with Le Blanc will be made available for all to play, including a Shogi board for the strategically inclined (and whoever knows how the heck to play it). Along the side wall are two pinball machines, and while they don't light up and make sounds, the mechanisms inside them still work, so they aren't completely out of the picture! Next to them, between the jukebox and the door is a dart board. Please do be mindful when throwing darts, as the light filtering into the bar through the front windows is very minimal. 🤔 INFORMATION EXCHANGE: The important part! When all are gathered inside the bar, Tifa and Ren will make a small announcement for everyone: "Now that we've all had the chance to take a look around and get our bearings, I wanna encourage everyone to exchange what you know, or what you've found. Even share it with the rest of us! Locations, ideas, theories - anything that could be useful in helping us all figure this out. We all come from different worlds, but we're stuck here, so we're in this together until we're not, yeah? Let's make friends and play nice, and most importantly, have fun today! Oh, and if you're coming and going, make sure to close the door nice and tight behind you." "It's nice to see everyone. It's more um-- a trait, than the main point, you know? I guess the most basic thing about it is that it's kinda just mental energy. Whether you wanna consider that something normal, or not.... It's just that Psychics can do more with it than the normal person, I guess.

[Did... people literally leave their bodies when they slept, where this guy comes from?? It sounds kind of cool, but also terrifying.]

Except I haven't managed to sleep at all in this place... It's starting to really weird me out, even though I don't feel that tired or distracted.

I don't normally need sleep, but I don't know why no one else needs to, or can't, here.

[He doesn't have any easy parallels for that one, and Solas would be better at theorizing about things like that.]

Oh... [Blue blinks, as if wondering why that didn't occur to him (WHY WOULD IT?), and then tilts his head.] Why not? Are you a robot, too?

[For a long few moments, it seems, they're just staring at each other, the bustle and clatter of the bar dinning around them.]

[And then Blue hums quietly, eyes lidding in thought.]

Oh, I get it. You're an alien!

--Wait, don't aliens and robots fight all the time? Hmmm....

[Sentai and scifi shows aren't real, Blue. unless they get apped in]

Um, but mostly, they fight over Earth! I'm not really sure why.

Oh, but usually the Hoenn Rangers or Mega-Tyranitar jump in to stop them, so they don't succeed anyway!

[The rest is more stuff that he doesn't understand. The bridge spirit mentioned Earth. Maybe he's from where she's from?]

I don't want to fight, if I don't have to.

[Despite his ...er, aggression in that arena, that was all about something different! Real fighting- between people or aliens or robots or whatever, Blue wasn't about all that business. He's just trying to have a good time and prove his self worth but shhh]

Hmmm, unless it's personal, maybe.... Haha, I'm not gonna sit here and pretend I never popped Red, before.

Oh, speaking of Reddy, look at that! I got you talking, didn't I? [Blue beams brightly- though it's mostly been him doing the talking as usual, right? But he's used to that; at least it wasn't totally one-sided.] I still got it!

What's your name, by the way? I'm Blue.

[It is honestly for the best that Cole does not know what Blue has 'got'.]

Red? He's my best friend, he's--

[Blue glances around, and spots Red, trying to hide himself away at a table across the bar. He's alone, still (other than Pikachu of course!), but he's nursing that juice Blue brought him not long ago.]

Over there, in the red cap. Another quiet one, like you. Maybe you guys should be friends!

[He looks toward the one he indicates. So that's Red.]

That's okay. I'm not here to make friends.

[From anyone else a statement like that might sound surly, but once again he's just casually stating a fact.]

I'm glad your friend is here with you.

[The way this guy speaks..... Blue gives him the benefit of the doubt, just because he seems so bluntly harmless, that way. Normally, he'd assume, but instead he asks.]

You don't get lonely, just sittin' around here without engaging anyone yourself?

That's how it should be. But here, people can see me, and their feelings aren't clear. I have to listen to what they're saying.

[Blue reaches out and... pokes Cole in the shoulder, just to be sure.]

[He's solid, isn't he??]

[He's not sure what that has to do with people not seeing him either, but. He just watches the poking happen. He feels pretty solid!]

Even if they do see me, they'll forget. [Or he can make them forget.] But none of that happens, here.

[Blue blinks slowly. You can probably see the gears turning behind his eyes. Not dreams.... but people forget about him.... But he feels solid??]

I don't really get it, but I'm glad people don't forget about you anymore! That sounds kinda lame. [He means sad. But what are feelings. He's manly.]

Anyway, if people won't forget about you anymore, that means you don't have to worry about that and you can make more friends! Come on!

[He tugs at Cole's wrist; let's go bother Red together!!]

[He wants to say it's better that they do, but it would seem he is now being dragged into being social. He's caught a bit off-balance, but he doesn't try to pull away so Blue is free to drag him along.]

But that's not why I'm here...

[Red is lost in the sweet, refreshing taste of his juice, glass about 3/4ths empty by this point, when suddenly Blue comes back to his table with a complete stranger in tow. From the look on the guy's face, it doesn't seem like he actually wants this at all. A kindred spirit... pun completely intended.

Removing his lips from his straw, Red regards Cole with a look of sympathy as he raises a hand in greeting at the two of them. On the other hand, Pikachu is very excited by this development and waves very enthusiastically!]

Pika pi~ka! [New friend, new friend!!]

[Thanks Pikachu, Blue knew you'd be on his side!!]

Here, here! Red, this is Cole; Cole, this is Red.

You're both sitting all on your own, so you should at least keep each other company, right?

Oh, and this is Pikachu, [Blue gestures to Cole towards Pikachu, the only one happy about this situation.] He's Red's partner Pokémon!

[At least someone(??) is happy about this. Cole at least doesn't seem displeased so much as out of his element, awkwardly standing by the table. His attention is drawn to Pikachu when he "speaks."]

You're much smaller than Duraludon.

[Which is the only other Pokemon he's personally met, so far.]

[In response to Cole's comment, Pikachu stands up proudly on his hind legs and flexes his tiny little arms.]

Pi-ka!!

[He may not look like much, but he is a very strong boy! Even without his powers!! (Well, not really, but shh.) Red smiles in amusement and pats Pikachu's head. At the very least, his Pikachu is definitely in the top percentage of Pikachus.]
