[ Ann's always been good at reading people, and while sometimes it can be a little hard, especially with Seto, for the most part she can generally read between the lines, the things that he's likely to have a harder time expressing verbally. Besides, their misunderstandings thus far have been sort of hilarious -- their first kiss on the beach had been a misunderstanding, to be fair, but it's something that while had been embarrassing at the time, has morphed into a fond memory. ] It can, I wish we had one right now... [ Because she can think of m a n y drinks they could make and try, okay. ] I know I do... hey. What if we found enough stuff on the beach to build one? [ He's pretty good with building things... ] He's got good judgment, but I'm also glad he's pretty friendly. If he wasn't, can you imagine the carnage he'd be capable of? [ Large, flailing legs, stampy hooves, and wings, man... like Giraffezilla. ]

Puppies are great! Dogs are loyal, you know? [ She pauses at his other suggestions, however. ] I wouldn't mind a goose... you can decorate a goose. Tie cute little ribbons around their necks, and they're loyal, too! Do you think we'll ever get geese here? [ She's. She's seriously considering now, Seto... ]

Yep, just.... um, you know! [ She laughs nervously and waves a hand dismissively, looking a little more than embarrassed. ] W-well, I dunno! It's not a bad thing to know, right? [ It's her ultimate goal to never let him find out that she's trying her hardest to study up on this shit and get more on his level, mostly because she's not sure if he'd really like that or not. She'll never be as smart or as talented at Seto, but she can at least make an attempt to better herself and be slightly more knowledgeable, right? ]

Hm? [ She blinks, pushing her nervous thoughts aside as he speaks again, and she looks back up at him, tipping her head slightly to the side. Why... is he looking at her like that........ ] Yeah? What did you have in mind?

[Truthfully, most of their misunderstandings had a way of working themselves out and weren't over anything major. They were both feeling this relationship out in a way that was unique and personal for them, as it should be] Yeah, well we don't. [Briefly raising an eyebrow] I'm beginning to wonder if there might be one in the cache of items Legion and Turing gathered... [Surely, coffee makers could not be so rare] For this, I haven't given up finding one pre-fab. [Somehow it seemed too backward to have to build something you should be able to purchase.] Though if.. I did build one I would put my branding all over it. [Smirking at the rest] He couldn't rampage much before the other wildlife took him out... [Not saying Toby is a lightweight.. but ... well.. he does have feathers]

They also shed, drool, and eat slippers.. [They aren't cleanly enough, Ann] I thought people only decorated goose statues.. for whatever reason. [Not seeing the allure] If geese appear here they're get crossed with... a rutabaga or be entirely featherless like 70% of the birds here. [What has he done]

No, it's not a bad thing- just a suspicious one. [Letting her know that he's on to her. Not that he has anyway to prove that this is new knowledge or any evidence. There's only so far he can push this. There were still things that Ann would always excel at more than Seto too.]

Let's pick up some lunch from the food stands and blow this place for now.. [Ie. go hang out in a less populated area where they can have the illusion of more privacy] I can always see about collecting some of these cabinets later and working on them back at the apartments where I can dedicate more focus.. [You're distracting Ann. Lol]

[ They sure do, and really, most of their little mishaps are things that they (well, her, at least) can look back on fondly later on. Their first kiss on the beach, the way they'd threatened each other's very existence upon first meeting -- good times! ] Yet. [ Keep the faith, man-- ] They might, but also, you could literally make a coffee pot to whatever specs you wanted. It'd be customized to you. [ She blinks, because... of course he'd put his own branding on it. ] See!? It's not a bad idea! [ AND it'd keep his hands busy! ] True! Maybe we're really lucky that the giraffes didn't get fused together with something like a t-rex. [ Those teeth... ]

They don't eat slippers, silly. They just chew them until they're beyond repair. I love puppies, I've always wanted a dog! [ They're cute, loyal, they want to play, they're man's best friend! ] What? No, if you decorate a real goose, you don't need to worry about decorating a ceramic one. They'd be super cute... aww, I really want one now. [ She sighs, and then blinks and nearly chokes at the mental image of a rutabaga goose mash up. ] I mean, on the upside, it'd be healthy, right? Like. It could be cooked several ways... [ ...This is gonna get real dark, real quick. So much for keeping one as a pet. ]

D-don't worry about it. Nothing suspicious here~ [ She's going to have to hide those books if she ever wants him to come hang out at her place again, but at least she's got time to figure out how to keep him from stumbling upon them. Then again, maybe it would please him to know about her little study sessions. They, after all, just for him -- the last thing he needs is an entirely stupid girlfriend, and even if it kills her, she will not be entirely ignorant to the things he does and likes and wants to do.

Fortunately, however, food has been mentioned. And food is something she's never not going to be excited about. If she ever turns food down, know that she's probably dying. ]

Okay, that sounds like a good idea! [ And it is a good idea, too, because it's still pretty early and they've got an entire day of... whatever ahead. Clearly, they'll need the energy. ] If that's the case, on our way back to the apartments, lets circle back here. I'll help you carry them back.

[ She pushes herself up to her feet and stretches, flashing him a bright, ridiculously happy smile, before she reaches both hands out to him, intending to help pull him back to his feet, too, if he wants. She knows he doesn't need, or probably even want the help, it's more or less an excuse to just hold his hands, even if it's just for a few moments. ]

We could head down to the beach and see if we can't find that coffee maker for you, too... maybe even some tools. You never know what's washed up lately.
