I'm not! I feel fine, so please don't worry about me.
[ As Blue threw another tissue into the trash their fretful look threatened to return, but they forced their display into behaving. No worrying on the outside allowed, they reminded themselves. Unfortunately, they didn't know that how dangerous it was to do just that right then. ]
I...I wish I had answers for you, but I'm afraid I don't know much about this mysterious illness either. Is there anything else I can do to help your Pokemon take care of you in the meantime?
[ Maybe fetching some water, or a warm drink, or food, or anything, really. They didn't want to just be standing there uselessly, that was for sure. Turing took a quick glance around the room for any sort of clue on what they could do to help. ]

[Blissfully unaware of their own suppression, Blue lets out a tiny sigh of his own as he gathers some blankets back up to his lap, awkwardly thinking of something to say. What Turing could do?]
[--Actually, there were things his Pokémon couldn't do; he nods towards the stove in the kitchenette area, looking a little sheepish and pathetic about it.] Um, actually... Well, I'm the breadwinner in this family, [He chuckles self-deprecatingly, easing his guilty-looking Pokémon.] Uh, I guess the bread-cooker too. What I mean it, I haven't been feeling up to cooking lately, so we've been eating kinda lamely the last couple days. Think you could grab us some food to stock up?
[From the Wallmarket he thinks, or even some of the snacks he had saved up at the bar; he just couldn't make the trip in the condition he was in, and although he'd sent his Pokémon on errands to fetch things in the meantime, it was hard for them to do so.]
[You know. No thumbs.]
Uh, it doesn't have to be now, though... Maybe just tea is good for now. I'm happy y'came to see me!

Of course I came! You weren't at Heavenly Blanc, so I was--
[ "Worried." They couldn't say that, obviously. ]
--um, wondering where you were! [ Nailed it. ] I know it wasn't proper of me to make an unannounced visit, but it was for a good reason.
[ Turing had more experience making coffee instead of tea, but surely the general idea was similar. Either way, they needed hot water. The problem with that was immediately obvious when they approached the kitchenette. Stretching up to reach anything on the counter when they would be dealing with very hot liquids could very easily end badly for them. Hmmm. ]
...May I borrow a chair or stool of some kind?

[He cringes lightly. If it was Red, he'd trust the guy with his lameness, but folks here didn't deserve to deal with his whining! ...So he thought. But he's starting to find that they're actually quite insistent otherwise.]
Oh... yeah, uh-
[Leaping up from his spot by Blue's sickbed, Arcanine immediately volunteers himself for the job to save Blue the effort, trotting over to Turing and kneeling himself by the counter for them to climb up and get a boost.]
Rrf! [Climb on, little guy!]
...Haha, I guess that works, [Blue grins weakly at Arcanine's eagerness to help.]

I think I understand what you mean. It is frustrating when there are it feels like you always need to ask others for aid. Of course, it's nice that others are willing to offer that aid, but it is still an awkward feeling.
[ At least Arcanine was here! They were still getting help, but at least they were getting it from a fluffy friend. After some words of thanks, they climbed up to reach the counter and started on the tea. Now, what kind to make... Probably the most soothing one, they decided. ]

[He decides to himself that in the future, he should try not to leap to help Turing so much that they feel so helpless. Blue was pretty prideful, too; he could understand the feeling.]
[Blue seemed to have a nice stock of green tea saved up in his cupboard, aside from a couple herbal kinds he'd been able to find at the café to take home, so it seems he's quite the matcha fan.] My sis is a huge tea nerd, [He chuckles quietly. He probably shouldn't be trying to talk, but he was a chatty guy; sometimes he can't help himself!] So I'm used to keeping it around.
no subject
[ That immediately drew Turing's attention. Though they really shouldn't be asking Blue a lot of questions when he wasn't feeling well... Argh! They would have to hold most of those back until he was feeling better.
Because he would get better. He had to.
Turing kept their focus on the tea instead, or at least they tried to. They had never made matcha before, so this was also a learning experience! Once they got the water boiling, which was probably a strange sight to behold considering Turing was doing all this while sitting or scooting around the countertop, they studied Blue's collection of tea. Honestly, they were studying each one as if they were a student doing some last minute cramming before an exam. Tea was very serious business. Eventually, after must fussing and referencing of instructions, Turing descended from the counter and presented Blue with a cup of green tea. Baby's first tea. ]
...What is it like to have a sister around?
[ They tried really hard to keep that question from coming out, honest. ]
no subject
[Oh. Now that he thinks about it-- yeah, the concept of siblings is probably pretty odd to a robot, isn't it? Or maybe not.... Were robots all manufactured the same way like siblings? Was that even how Turing was made??]
[Blue muses to himself for a long moment before he shrugs weakly and watches them get to work. It's a lot of patient and curious watching as he settles into bed to wait for his tea. Here and there, Blue offers raspy, quiet bits of brewing advice, but mostly it seems like Turing has the hang of it! Maybe they had tea brewing instructions somewhere in that supercomputer brain of theirs?]
[Accepting the steaming teacup with a sigh of thanks, Blue lets himself just breathe in the mellow scent of the tea to calm himself before blinking and bearing his best grin towards Turing, wanting to encourage their genuine interest.] Daisy's kind of a pain, h-haha! .....Well, but she's always looked out for me.
[Blue settles back into his bed a little, and stares at his lap. His face was already a bit flush with fever, but his cheeks pink a little more.] She basically raised me, since gramps was always busy working. --to support us, I mean... After... Well, he was always busy, but....
[For a split moment there's something like a frown that crosses his features, as he tries to shake past his thoughts.] --Anyway, she's a good bit older than me, and I was a real brat when I was younger. [Like he isn't now??] She's a saint, honestly, for putting up with me....
no subject
Daisy is a lovely name!
[ That aside, the subject of family did appear to be complicated. Better be careful to not step on any mines and stress Blue out further. ]
I can imagine, based on what I have seen of your memories.
[ That...that was not careful. That was more of a barb of a statement, actually. ]
Though perhaps it's less that she's a saint--though I'm sure she's very nice! Couldn't it be that she wasn't just "putting up with you"? It may not be my place to say when I haven't met her, but from my point of view, it seems equally likely that she took care of you because she cared for you very much.
[ There, that was better. ]
The residents here care for you as well, including me. So...please get well soon.
no subject
[Yeah... He'd almost forgotten about that. Blue visibly clenches up a little bit, then wilts, erupting into a tiny coughing fit as he fails to push his feelings about those memories back down.]
[He doesn't want to make Turing feel bad about it, though! He tries to wave a hand to dismiss it away- no use being guilty about it, they were telling it like it is, right? And Blue sure is avoiding it...]
[Still, though- by the time he manages to recover from his coughing, and hear Turing's kind words about Daisy, he has to give it pause. They weren't... wrong. And Blue knew that- he knew that she did what she did because she cared about him, and was looking out for what was best for him, even when as a kid, it'd felt overbearing.]
Yeah... You're right, [He grins weakly, and reaches out to give Turing a little poke in their 'cheek', lovingly.] I'm forgetting the important stuff, right?
[...There was more to it than that. More than he'd admit to most people here. He still felt he wasn't deserving of a lot of the positive attention, because he hid the parts of him that were terrible, most times. But then again, Turing had seen some of it too, right? Even if it had been pretty minor pettiness....]
[But maybe it was okay, to feel like he could be worried after. He rubs at his chest, as if to ease the coughing.] Maybe some positive thinkin'll help me out.
no subject
They climbed up with only a little difficulty (honest!) and reached out to give Blue a pat on the head just as he had done for them before. ]
It's okay. I know it's not typical for humans to have perfect recall, so I'll remind you if that people care about you if it seems like you're forgetting that.
[ Were they trying to emulate the senpai and/or older sibling energy that Blue had shown to them in the past? Well, maybe. They also perked right up at the idea of positive thinking. ]
Yes! 'Mind over matter,' as the saying goes. I'll help you think of some positive things as well.
